1. Warranty is void when users disobey instructions given by the user’s manual resulting in damages.
2. Any software or digital content included with the product like the disc, downloadable, or preloaded form is not covered under this Warranty.
3. Warranty is void when product damage due to external causes, including accident, electrical power, abnormal electrical, mechanical or environmental conditions, and usage not in accordance with product instructions, misuse, neglect, alteration, repair, improper installation, or improper testing.
4. Any product which has been modified or operated outside of ACPI's publicly available specifications or where the original identification markings (trademark or serial number) has been removed, altered, or obliterated from the product.
5. Warranty is void when damages are caused by computer viruses or caused when trying to remove the virus.
6. If the amount of written data exceeds the TBW value specified in the Datasheet, the warranty will be invalid
Product warranty durations are calculated based on the date of purchase. Please provide original proof of purchase documents (eg. receipt or invoices) when requesting warranty services. If customers are unable to provide an original copy of such documents, the warranty period will be based on the manufacturing date stated on the product.
Please refer to the table below for the warranty duration of each product series.
1. Within 30 days from the purchase date of ACPI product(s), if it is not man-made error or incompatibility issues, ACPI will provide you with a replacement. Products that do not meet DOA exchange conditions are still entitled to RMA services.
2. Products within the warranty period, warranty services are free of charge (Including labor or exchange services). The exchange of product or product parts are of the same specifications or equivalent to.
3. If the product is outside warranty ACPI will still repair a defective product, however, the customer will be charged for the cost of labor and replaced parts.
According to the ACPI warranty procedure, the defective product should be returned only with prior authorization from ACPI. Please contact the ACPI sales department (tw.sales@patriotmemory.com) with the following information: product model number and description, nature of the defect, conditions of use, proof of purchase, and purchase date. ACPI will issue a Return Material Authorization or Product Repair Authorization number. Ship the defective product to:
